Welcome to No More Dead Fish!
No More Dead Fish is a phrase God
gave me years ago. I was over by the
bay waiting on someone to fix my
friends truck and as I was walking along
I saw that there were dead fish floating
by the wall. He dropped in my spirit "No
More Dead Fish!"
It relates to being called fishers of men.
If we are truly fishers then there
shouldn't be any more dead fish!
While not all may be saved, we don't
know which ones will and which ones
won't, therefore we are to "fish" as
though all will be "caught".
Remember, we were called to "fish out
of the pond, not clean it up first". I don't
remember where I found that saying,
but, it is true. We are to do the
"catching" and let God do the "cleaning".
Win people over in love, even when they
don't "deserve" it. You didn't deserve
His love either.
We are called to be like Christ. Let's
practice his unconditional love until we
get it right.
For me no more dead fish is about the
fish already caught and bringing them
out of dead religion and into
relationship/initimacy with him.
